Rita is a passionate storyteller. She excels in capturing genuine emotions and has an intuitive ability to bond with both talent and crew. Her work has a distinctive natural look, being influenced most by post-modern filmmakers, as well as cinematographers Conrad Hall and Vittorio Storaro.
Rita is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Her creative journey began as a child with a love for music, dance, and theatre. She has used her skills as a photographer to location scout for numerous film projects, in addition to on set and behind the scenes photography.
Born in Miami and lured by love to Sweden, Rita now splits her time between Los Angeles and Miami. Stockholm gave her a deep appreciation for realistic lighting, modern minimalism and post-modern aesthetics. These influences directly translate to her cinematic style.
